This publication of archival documents includes letters from members of the Eurasianist movement preserved in Petr Suvchinsky’s archive at the French National Library. Letters by Nikolai Sergeevich Trubetskoi to other Eurasianists focus on the Eurasianist conception of history and politics. Letters by Petr Semenovich Arapov shed light on contacts with the Soviet secret services and the split in the Eurasianist movement. Lev Karsavin’s letter to Georgii Piatakov provides evidence of the contacts between the Eurasianists and Soviet authorities. Letters by Henry Norman Spalding contribute to understanding his role in the Eurasianist movement and his motivation for providing funding to the Russian émigré movement.
